Sunday Morning, Puerto Vallarta!

A very relaxing morning, a lovely café [Café Cafesto]; with excellent Chai, very good Cappuccino and one of my favourites – Chilaquiles; Eggs atop tortillas stewed in green sauce with a bit of onions and cheese. Those, along with yoghurt and fresh tropical fruit, gave us the energy to start our walk-about in the hills of PV.
We headed up to Gringo Gulch; made famous by the purchase of a house by Richard Burton for Elizabeth Taylor after filming John Houston’s “Night of the Iguana”. The cobblestoned streets lead us through neighborhoods and finally took us back to the beautiful walkway along the beach.
Stone sculptors, musicians and families were all out enjoying the bright sunny Sunday. Just like us, nice way to spend the day; we could really get use to this.
